Getting on track

 

Always wanted to be a racing driver? Well there really is nothing stopping you.

Stratton Motorspot can help you get on track, starting with a familiarisation programme

on track days with members of the Stratton race team. We select circuits that you will

eventually compete on to ensure you are learning the right car and track characteristics.

One of our driving instructors will be with you throughout the day to give tuition and advice.

We use the latest V-Box cameras and tracking software to monitor how you drive the car

and during each break will assess the data to find areas where you can improve. The driving

instructor will talk you through the ARDS pack ready for you to take the test for your

National B racing licence.

 

 

 

 

Obtaining your Race Licence

 

The last step before competing in your first event is to take your ARDS racing licence test.

The ARDS test will be held at a circuit that you are familiar with. During the 3 hours you will be assessed with the aim of qualifying you for your National B race licence.

One of our driving instructors can be with you during the day to ensure you have all the support you need to pass the test successfully.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lets go Racing

 

TEST DAY

The purpose of testing is to hone your skills ready for your first race. One of our instructors will be with you throughout the day to give tuition and advice. We will work from data gathered from the car, as well as the in car cameras and tracking software, to monitor how you drive the car and during each break will assess the data to find areas you can improve.

RACE DAY

The final step of the journey is to take part in your first race either in your own car or one of ours. The Stratton Motorsport team will be with you to make sure you have a great weekend every race weekend.
